Dictating using the Optic HandMic Connexions
Station
The following includes
information on how to use the Connexions station with the Optic HandMic to
dictate reports on the Enterprise Express Voice system.
Access and Using the
Enterprise Express Voice system
- Press the Speaker/Mute button towards the bottom of
the console to start the system.
Once connected, the
initial greeting "Thank you for calling the Enterprise Express voice system"
will play.
Note: When you are
prompted to enter information and your entry is incorrect, press [*#] to
reenter the information, or press [*1] to back up to the previous prompt.
- When prompted, enter your User ID and press the pound
[#] key.
- If prompted for your Site ID, enter 3 and press the
pound [#] key.
Note: This will
only happen if there is another user in Site 2 that shares the same ID
number as you.
- When prompted, enter your Password and press the pound
[#] key.
- When prompted for your one-digit Profile Number, enter
1 (HandMic).
- When prompted, enter the Work Type and press the pound
[#] key.
- When prompted, scan the barcode.
Note: When all
prompted entries are complete, you will hear "To begin recording, press and
hold the record button located on the hand mic."
Hand-Mic Control Features
Pause
- Release the Record button
Rewind
- Press and hold the button labeled Rewind/Play..
(Pressing Rewind/Play once will give you a short
rewind. Pressing and holding Rewind/Play will give
you a longer rewind.)
Rewind & playback
- Press and release the Rewind/Play button.
Stop playback
- Press the button labeled Stop.
Complete and begin a new
dictation - Press the button labeled End or press [8] on the touch-tone
keypad.
Complete the dictation and log
off - Press [5] and then press the button labeled Stop on the Connexions
station.
